Since 1989, the HOPE (Harnessing Optimism and Potential through Education) Foundation – a non–profit 501c3, whose Honorary Chair is Archbishop Desmond Tutu – has led the way in tapping into the passion, collective wisdom and leadership to create schools where Failure Is Not an Option® for any student.
HOPE helps individuals within the school, district and region work as a team or learning community - one that is collectively focused on success for all students. We have data confirming the efficacy of our approach which is to create high-functioning leadership teams that consistently enable schools to close achievement gaps among students while enhancing overall success. Beyond test scores, we have also worked with schools to build classroom environments where teachers want to teach and students want to learn.
