Darrell "Coach D" Andrews is known worldwide as America's Passion Coach. Darrell Andrews Enterprises has been contracted to work with school districts, non-profit organizations, community agencies and state governments with the goal of increasing youth motivation towards academic success, youth leadership and advocacy. His program HYPE (Helping Youth Pursue Excellence) is nationally recognized for his high dropout prevention rate, leadership training and soft skills development. Darrell has authored several books including, The Purpose Living Teen - A Teen's Guide to Living Your Dreams, Believing the HYPE: 7 Keys to Motivating Students of Color and nationally recognized How to find Your Passion And Make A Living At It.  His "Five Garbage Bags and A Dream" story in Chicken Soup for the African American Soul is an inspiring story that shares the role education played in Darrell pursuing his passion.  

Coach D has made guest appearances on the Tavis Smiley Show and the Black Enterprise Report. He was a regular expert guest on Comcast Cablevision's Your Morning Talk Show. A highly sought after keynote speaker and trainer at national and state conferences as well as school and school district based events. He shares on the topics of closing the achievement gap, youth and adult motivation, connectedness and personalization, teamwork, leadership and parental involvement. As a consultant and trainer, he and his team help school districts and organizations establish infrastructures that support the motivation of minority and at-risk students as well as helping all students "Connect Dreams to Education."

Most importantly, he is happily married and the father of three wonderful children.
