Types of Information Collected and Use Thereof

The HOPE Foundation does not collect personally identifiable information (i.e., information that can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name, email address, or mailing address) from you unless you voluntarily choose to submit that information. Statistical Information. The HOPE Foundation collects and monitors statistical information in order to better serve our clients. For example, the IP addresses of visitors, the individual Web pages visited, and domain names from which visitors originate or later visit are all collected for statistical purposes. This information is not typically shared with third parties, but may be shared with third parties for analysis purposes. The HOPE Foundation may collect statistical information through the use of cookies and other Internet technologies. Cookies are elements of data transferred to your hard drive that allow customized visitor preferences, record-keeping, or access to password protected features.

While The HOPE Foundation strives to safeguard personally identifiable information, data transmission over the Internet, including e-mail, cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, The HOPE Foundation cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit over the Internet, and any information you so transmit is done at your own risk. The HOPE Foundation cannot be responsible for disclosures of personally identifiable information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties, and encourages you to exercise prudence in selecting the information you send via the Internet, including via e-mail.
